SCATTERED LEAVES is a postal editions project by artist May Hands.

Over the course of a year I will create six bi-monthly art editions, each designed to fit into a C5 envelope. Each edition will be available to purchase in a limited run and will be sent by post, hand-packaged and accompanied by a letter.

The artwork and letter will explore what I am currently working on in my studio practice. You can expect reflections on seasonal cycles, motherhood, ritual and reciprocity, explored through traditional crafts, assemblage, photography and painting.

SCATTERED LEAVES has grown from a desire to find a sustainable way of distributing my artwork by connecting with audiences in an intimate and open way.
